Bellydance-For-Life
Upcoming Classes

group veil dance by corydalus

All dance classes at Bellydance-for-Life share a similar approach. Liberating exercises are offered to open the body, creating softness, strength and freedom. There are opportunities to explore your own dance expression through improvisation, as well as the unique, one-of-a-kind approach to combinations and choreography.

With every session there will be time for sharing the dance with each other and chances to perform for others. There is never any pressure as you are in charge of your own dance art. Your choices and requests are respected.

Throughout the year, small, 'special-topic' workshops will be provided to give you the opportunity for further study of this art form. So, join up for a belly dance class today!

Choosing a Level
That's Right For You

Gentle - Do not be fooled. Gentle does not mean 'easy' or 'boring'! We'll focus on the foundation of bellydance and graceful ease of movement. Care is taken to nurture the body to create a "soft strength". The rewards are boundless!

Challenging - This is for the adventurous bellydancer. The aim is to increase strength and excellence in movement. We'll tackle complex combinations and layering. This is belly dance in full bloom!

Extreme - Not to intimidate! This level is for the seasoned dancer who wants more! You'll explore floor-play, extreme shimmies, spins and other risk-taking manouvers. Expand the horizons of dance art!

Celebrating Solstice

Veil Workshop

The Forgotten Gifts (gentle) This is a celebration of summer solstice and expressing our inner flame.

The veil is a gateway to our mysterious and powerful beauty. We'll flow with our passion for life through movement, song and story.

As a special bonus, we will learn to make fresh rolls for lunch!

Experience the sacredness, grace, and joy of bellydance in a safe and supportive environment.

52 Cachet Parkway, Markham (Zebra Mailbox) - June 21, 10am-3pm
