Becoming an Artist of Bellydance
A bellydance artist has endurance, creativity, strength and flexibility. When you develop these qualities on a daily basis, your body changes and the movements become natural. To take dance beyond physical fitness or recreation, and be true to the art, you need to dedicate considerable time (and some money too). Ideally, you already do a class with an instructor that can mentor you along this path and you have access to some kind of 'studio' to practice. However, there is lots you can do without these luxuries. A 'Home Practice' is an affordable and rewarding way to D.I.Y (do it yourself).
